Families deserve more than home care. They deserve a trusted guide.
Wayfinder was born from Matt Preston’s decades in senior care and his conviction that the industry could do better for families. Over his career he worked in many corners of senior living and home care, from dietary services and operations through to executive leadership, business development and ownership. He saw how much families rely on the right support, and how much difference it makes when care is delivered with both professionalism and heart.
His why is personal. As a father to adopted children, Matt understands what it means to build and protect a family, and the weight of making decisions for the people we love most. Like many in the sandwich generation, he has cared for children and aging loved ones at the same time, and knows how overwhelming that season is without the right support.
It is not just a business idea. It is a company built to help families feel seen, supported and less alone, treating care as a relationship rather than a transaction, and understanding that trust is earned rather than assumed.

When a storm rolls across the plains, most animals run away from it, trying to escape the wind and the rain. The bison do the opposite. They face the wind head-on, push through the hardest part, and come out the other side faster and stronger.
That is the Wayfinder way. When families face the storm of aging, illness or lost independence, we do not run from it. We step into it with them, and we believe resilience is built in the storm rather than after it.
Through hardships to the stars. A reminder that adversity is not an obstacle to success, it is the path to it. The most rewarding work is often the hardest, and the most transformative moments come after the struggle.
The families we serve have faced difficulties. The Caregivers who show up every day carry their own stories. We do not shy away from the hard parts of care. We lean in, because walking alongside a family through their toughest season is how they reach something greater: safety, dignity, peace, and even hope.
